Yes — browsing, listing, requesting, and messaging are all free. Sharelet is built around trust, not transaction fees.
How does verification work?+
Every member starts at Level 1 (phone + email). You can add a government-ID check (Level 2) and an optional background check (Level 3). Each member's level is shown up front.
Is my information safe?+
Your Renter Passport is only shared with hosts you've actually requested, never the open web. Verification documents are handled by trusted providers — Sharelet never stores raw IDs.
What happens after I'm accepted?+
Messaging unlocks, and you can arrange an in-person or video viewing right in the app, with safety guidance built in. After a stay, hosts and renters review each other.
