Renter Trust Passport

Your reputation, made portable.

Every time you apply for a place, you start from zero, re-proving you're trustworthy to a stranger. The Renter Trust Passport ends that. Build it once, and carry a verifiable record of who you are and how you rent, sharable with any landlord by link or QR.

A credit score says whether you pay your bills. The Renter Trust Passport says something a landlord actually wants to know: are you who you say you are, and are you a good person to rent to? It's earned from real behavior, owned by you, and it travels.

Common questions

What is the Renter Trust Passport?

It's a verifiable, portable renter reputation on Sharelet Space. It gathers your identity-verification level, your trust score, your completed stays, and your two-way reviews into one profile you can share by private link or QR code, even with a landlord who isn't on Sharelet. Think of it as a reputation for how you actually rent, that you carry with you instead of rebuilding at every application.

How is the trust score calculated?

It's built from real signals: your verification level (email, government ID, background check), your two-way reviews from past hosts and roommates, and your completed stays and on-time rent history on Sharelet. Scores band into New, Building, Strong, and Exceptional. It measures rental behavior, not your finances, and never a credit score you have to expose.

What does a landlord see when I share it?

Your name, verification level and badges, your trust score and reputation, and your completed-stay and review history, enough to confirm you're a real, trustworthy renter. Private details are never exposed, and you can turn off a share link at any time, which instantly revokes access for anyone using it.

Do I have to be on Sharelet to check someone's passport?

No. Anyone with the private link or QR code can view a member's Trust Passport to confirm their identity and reputation, so it works even off-platform. That's what makes it portable.
